Jodi Pumper

Jodi Ann Pumper, age 44 of Faribault, MN, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault, following a brief battle with cancer.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, followed by a prayer service at 4:00 p.m.

Jodi was born on December 27, 1973 in Faribault to Gerald and Judy (Schreiber) Pumper. Jodi graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1992 and later from Mankato State University with a degree in Education. Jodi taught for many years in the Faribault School District as full-time, substitute, and special education teacher. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Jodi also volunteered for the Rice County Fair and often at the schools. She enjoyed crafting, reading, shopping, collecting figurines, and attending parades. During college she enjoyed being part of the Drum & Bugle Corp.

She is survived by her mother, Judy Pumper of Faribault; siblings, Julie (Rex) Harriman of Owatonna, MN, Joel Pumper of Owatonna, and Jeff (Stacey) Pumper of Chaska, MN; eight nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald; and her grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Allina Health Hospice "Patient Care Funds" in memory of Jodi.
