Animals are wonderfully agreeable friends. They ask so little of us, and give so much love in return. When it comes time for you to let go of your animal companion, making the decisions on how to care for their physical remains can be heart-wrenching. We are death care experts and feel we can offer the much needed compassion for families after they experience the loss of a close companion to their family. We care for each pet in the same professional manner as we do person.
A private cremation means your pet is placed alone in the cremation chamber dedicated only for pets. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet's cremated remains are removed from the chamber, and returned to you, in an urn of your choice. This is the only way humans are cremated and we feel pets should be cared for the same way.
PRIVATE CREMATION IS THE ONLY method PK for pets will offer. We firmly believe you should have confidence and comfort knowing your pet will be cared for by our staff, single cremation, and returned to you in one day.
Many times family members want to be involved in the cremation of their pet. This is just like a private cremation, but your family is present during the cremation in a viewing room. This option is not available at all crematories. Please ask our staff for further information as we desire to make your experience fitting to your family's needs.
Separate or Separated Cremation is a hybrid between Mass or Group Cremation and Private Cremation. Multiple pets are placed within the unit and separated by space. We at PK for Pets feel this is an unacceptable practice and does not offer it. Why pay a premium price and receive a mix of ashes? Listen closely and carefully to the providers words and read the authorization form carefully. This practice would never be done with people. WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING THIS TYPE OF SERVICE.
