James Mullenmeister

James J. Mullenmeister, age 77, of Owatonna, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN passed away August 15, 2018 at the Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault, with Sr. Kathleen Hayes, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

The family prefers that memorials be directed to Bethlehem Academy High School in memory of Jim.

James Joseph, the son of Victor and Mary (Donkers) Mullenmeister, was born on Feb. 4, 1941 in Faribault, MN. Jim grew up in the Deerfield Township area. He was united in marriage to Judy Wagner and later divorced. Jim worked for over 40 years as a machinist at Onan/Cummins Corporation in Blaine, MN retiring in 2010. Jim enjoyed going for drives in the country, listening to country music, caring for his farm animals and watching the trains pass by at Krogh's landing.

He is survived by his brother, Daniel (Diane) Mullenmeister of Faribault, MN; by two nephews, Travis Mullenmeister and Eric Mullenmeister, both of Faribault, MN and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Mullenmeister.
