Jeana Livingston

Jeana M. Livingston, age 49, of Apple Valley, MN, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services.

Jeana Marie was born on January 22, 1968 in Omaha, NE to William and Shirley (Roberts) Livingston. She graduated from North High School in Omaha with the class of 1986. She lived in the area and met Peter Sammon in 1996. Together they traveled to many different locations and have lived in Apple Valley for the past 15 years. Jeana graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Accounting. She worked in accounting in the banking industry for many years with U.S. Bank and lastly with Bridgewater Bank as Vice President of Loan Administration. Jeana loved reading, gardening, and time with her kids. She enjoyed watching and attending many of her local sports teams including the Twins, Vikings, Gophers, her hometown Cornhuskers, and a fan of Bemidji State Beavers where her son Ben will play.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Sammon; mother, Shirley Livingston; daughter, Jessica Livingston; sons, Joey Grothe, Michael Grothe, and Ben Sammon; brother, David (Angie) Livingston; grandson, Mason Livingston; granddaughter, Gracien Larson; brothers and sister-in-law, Patrick (Marion) Sammon, Mick (Katie) Sammon, and Becky Sammon; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Livingston; daughter, Emma Claire Sammon; and parents-in-law, Francis and Helen Sammon.
