Jeanette L. Fritz, age 91 of Faribault, MN, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her residence at Faribault Senior Living.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.
Jeanette was born on January 31, 1926 in Faribault to William and Loretta (St. Martin) Luckow. She graduated from Bethlehem Academy with the class of 1943. Jeanette married Earl W. Fritz on September 12, 1946 at the Sacred Heart Church Parish House. They enjoyed 61 ½ years of marriage before Earl's death on May 21, 2008. In 1981, Jeanette obtained her Real Estate license and then when on to get her Broker's license and opened Fritz Realty. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, American Legion, Eagles and Moose Auxiliaries. Jeanette enjoyed quilting, Brazilian embroidery, sewing, reading, and spending time on Facebook.
She is survived by her five daughters, Toni Mickelson (Jerry Bugge) of Faribault, Jill (Lawson) Hilder of Goodyear, AZ, Randie (Jim) LaForge of Goodyear, AZ, Tracie (Wade) Bauer of Lexington, SC and Kellie (Chris) Theisen of Crystal, MN; seven grandchildren, Janna (Bernie) Viscomi, Dr. Thomas (Dr. Brandi) Hilder, Andrea (Will) Caseber, Scott (Michele) Bauer, Tiffany (Brian) Hunter, Steven (Angela) Theisen and Leslie Anne Theisen; ten great grandchildren, Nikki (Dylan) Eastman, Andrew and Chris Viscomi, Amelia Hilder, Zachary Caseber, Brayden and Chloe Hunter, and Julia and Felicity Theisen; great great grandson, Elijah Eastman; siblings, Marlys Kattenberg of Murrieta, CA, Marilyn (Roland) Conklin of Pepin, WI, Gerald (Mary Lou) Luckow of Warsaw, MN, and Ronald Luckow and Peter Luckow, both of Faribault; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; parents, William and Loretta; siblings, Audrey Schmidtke, William Luckow, Neil Luckow, and Spencer Luckow; and son-in-law, John Mickelson.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Faribault Senior Living and Brighton Hospice for the excellent care they provided for our mother.
Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Academy or Divine Mercy Catholic Church in memory of Jeanette.
