He was a man of many names. Affectionately known as Butch to his family. Butch peacefully passed away in his sleep at home with his wife on August 29th, 2021. Butch and June were married October 27th 1978. She was the love of his life. They had two children Stacey Tabor and Kyle Ackerman.
Butch had a special bond with his grandchildren who will miss him greatly. His grandchildren from the Tabor family are Carlee (14), Ira (12), Violet (4), and Cylus (20 mos.), and from the Ackerman family are: Parker (12) and Edison (8).
Hawg's passion in life was riding motorcycles. He was an original member of the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club Faribault Chapter, being patched in 1988, and continued to be a member for 33 years, until his death.
Family and close friends will have a private graveside service him at the Cemetery on September 24th, and there will be a Club Celebration of Life for Hawg on September 25th.
Proceeded in death by Phyllis Ackerman (Mother), Susan Ackerman (Sister), and many fallen Brothers of the MC.
Survived by his loving wife, June Ackerman of Morristown, children Stacey (Troy) Tabor of Eagle Lake and Kyle (Rosa) Ackerman of Waseca, sister Peggy Ackerman of Florida, brother David of California, his eight wonderful grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
