Ann L. Dwyer

Ann L. Dwyer, age 72 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at The Emeralds of Faribault following an extended illness.

Ann Leslie, the daughter of Rankin and Patricia (Alden) Shrewsbury was born on March 30, 1953 in Hollywood, FL. Her family would later move to Chicago, IL and she attended Carl Schurz High School and graduated with the class of 1972. On July 22, 1978 she was united in marriage to Leonard “Leo” Dwyer in Faribault, MN. Ann worked for 44 years for the City of Faribault in the Finance Department. When Ann wasn’t working she enjoyed sewing, leather tooling, making purses, shooting, hunting, fishing, and 4 wheeling with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Leo Dwyer; by her children, Jake Dwyer and Erin Dwyer; by her very loved and only grandchildren, Katelyn Dwyer and Alexander Dwyer; by her siblings, Helen Edinger, Joan Schubert and Douglas Shrewsbury; by Jake’s black lab, “Timmy”, she loved that dog and loved being the treat lady for him and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rankin and Patricia Shrewsbury.

Per Ann’s request no services will be held, she stated she wanted people to remember her the way she was.
