Arlene M. Caron

Arlene M. Caron, age 88 of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at her home.

Arlene Marie, the daughter of Donald and Christine (Silbernagle) Piper, was born on December 10, 1937 in Faribault, MN. Arlene grew up in Faribault, MN and graduated from the Faribault High School with the Class of 1956. She worked for the Faribault Woolen Mill for many years as a sewer. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, David Caron on July 18, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. Following her retirement, Arlene enjoyed traveling to Texas in their motorhome, camping with her family, raising and training horses and sheep, going for rides in the car with David and seeing what her family was up to, driving to shop for furniture from the Amish, playing cards with her family, gardening, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a phenomenal baker and enjoyed canning her garden goods.

Arlene is survived by her sons, Rick (Kim) Caron, Doug (Linda) Caron, and Brad Caron; grandchildren, Dani Caron (Dane), Adam Caron, Jessica Wilson, and Renee Caron (Mitch); eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Diane Piper; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; infant son, Jeff Caron; daughter-in-law, Pam Caron; grandson, Andy Caron; and brothers, Curtis and Donald Piper.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home with Bernadette Tatge officiating. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
