Barbara J. Larson

Barbara J. Larson, age 82 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna, MN following an extended illness.

Barbara Jean, the daughter of Warren and Lorraine (Cody) Low was born on September 19, 1943 in Faribault, MN. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1961. Barb was a hard worker with a kind heart that would help anyone in need. She did housekeeping for many years while working other jobs. But the housekeeping would turn into caregiving for those clients, and she cared deeply for them. Most recently Barb worked as a health care worker for Rison Homes. She was so proud of her granddaughters and loved her siblings very much.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Larson of Faribault, MN; by her granddaughters, Sage Lewis and Courtney Lewis, both of Faribault, MN; by her siblings, Patricia Borgstahl of Faribault, MN, Robert “Skip” Low of Carver, MN and Dreward “Babe” Low of Owatonna, MN; by her faithful dog and companion Lucky, and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held this summer at Calvary Cemetery in Faribault, MN along with a Celebration of Life gathering.
