Billi R. Stiff, age 65, of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Allina Health Faribault Medical Center.
Billi Rae, the daughter of Wilhem and Hazel (Dahms) Vesledahl, was born on July 18, 1957 in Galliapolis, Ohio. Billi Rae Stiff formally known as SallyAnn Elaine Vesledahl was raised in Nerstrand MN. As a kid she loved riding horses. Her favorite kind was a palomino. As she grew up, she had an amazing passion for singing and playing her twelve-string guitar. She soon became known as Sundown Sally playing and singing anywhere she could. She even went as far as doing a contest in Nashville and winning second place.
She loved traveling with her girls exploring new places and was a resident in Emporia, Kansas; Butte, Montana; and Milledgeville, Georgia.
She was caring and funny and just made everyone laugh. Later in life she loved to cook and make up new recipes to share with her friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as much and as often as she could. She was the queen of cards, "and dice!" she would say. And spent a lot of time playing dice and cards and cribbage with her best friend Cindy. She also loved the world of IMVU and the family she made on there.
She loved all her girls and grandchildren with her whole heart. "I love you to the moon and to the…..Stars!"
Billi is survived by her daughters, Roxanna Macias, Autumn (James Blashack) Dahms, and Paige (Mickey Duskin) Dahms; grandchildren, Cierra Parker, Liliana (Carlos Nunez) Arizpé, Dominic Alvarez, Angel (Jesus Paulino) Macias-Paulino, Christopher Dahms-Demars, and Dean Duskin; great-grandchild, Luciano Nunez; brothers, Elmer Anderson and Kimm Anderson; her best friend and soul mate Cynthia Gammiere; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bobby Anderson.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Paige’s house, 1805 Havel Pl Faribault, MN 55021. Please come and enjoy some food, laughs, and memories. A private family interment will take place at Valley Grove Cemetery in Nerstrand, MN.
