Brenda K. Neuman

Brenda K. Neuman, age 61, of Faribault, MN, passed away September 16, 2026, at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis following a sudden illness.

Brenda Kay, the daughter of Myron and Lorraine (Keith) Schnaser, was born on February 2, 1965, in Ortonville, MN. She graduated from Ortonville High School and attended community college in Fergus Falls, MN. Brenda was united in marriage to Kirk Neuman on July 29, 1983. She worked as a librarian at the Buckham Memorial Library in Faribault for 26 years. Brenda enjoyed word puzzles, reading, and spending time at the camper at Winjums.

She is survived by her husband, Kirk Neuman; son, Dakota Neuman; grandson, Lucas James; brother, Dennis Schnaser; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Lorraine; and siblings, Dr. Allan Schnaser, Susan Kestmier, Kathy Martin, Stanley Keith, Sharon Remund, and Michael Keith.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Rev. Joe Jorgensen, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
