Carol J. (Bisping) Gare, age 69, of Faribault, MN, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault. Interment will be held at a later date. For those unable to attend you can watch the service live streamed through a link found on Carol’s obituary page.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carol Jean was born on June 18, 1950 in Faribault to Harold and Josephine (Hrabik) Bisping. She graduated from Morristown High School with the class of 1968. Carol was married to James Gare on August 30, 1969 at St. Luke’s Church in Faribault. When her sons entered school age, Carol stared working at McDonald’s retiring after 32 years. Carol had many talents including being an extraordinary gourmet cook, a gifted seamstress, artist, singer and musician, playing the piano and accordion. She collected angels, seashells, and cookbooks. She always dressed up, looked top notch, and loved her jewelry. Carol loved the Christmas season and fully embraced it at her home and with her family. She was a longtime member of the Faribault Moose Lodge Auxiliary and Faribault Eagle’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Gare of Faribault; sons, Jeremy (Jamie) Gare of Medford, MN, and Joshua (Linda) Gare of Montgomery, MN; six grandchildren, Bailey, Autumn, Caitlyn, Marissa, Makenna, and Quinn; brother, Jerry (Sharon) Bisping of Faribault; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Josephine.
