Carol J. Juaire

Carol J. Juaire, age 84, of Kenyon, MN, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna, MN.

Carol Jean the daughter of Phillip and Esther (Stadler) Forcelle, was born on July 18, 1940, in Austin, MN. She was married to Ernest Juaire on June 15, 1957, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. Carol loved spending time with her family and friends. You could count on her famous mint bars at every gathering. She loved to can pickled beets and bake birthday cakes. She dabbled in crafts and helped her husband make small furniture for their grandchildren. They made rocking horses, a Pacman rocking chair, doll furniture, and kids’ tables and chairs. She was also a good seamstress. Carol enjoyed playing Yahtzee, 10,000, and cards. She and her sisters formed a comedy/storytelling group called Sisterhood of the Round Table. She loved reading books to her grandchildren. Her family was very important to her.

She is survived by her children, Anthony Juaire (Michael Vils), Andrew Juaire (Elsie), Lorie St. Clair (John), and Timothy Juaire; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; siblings, JoAnne Peters, Lynne Knutson, Fr. Joseph Forcelle, Fred Forcelle, and Susan Forcelle; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Esther; children, Cindy Bruegger, Charles Juaire, Dean Van Houdt, and Christopher Juaire; siblings, Frank Lee Forcelle (Jaan), Rose Fried (Paul Jr.), and Michael Forcelle (Colleen); siblings-in-law, Robert Knutson, William Snow, and William Peters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kenyon, with Fr. Joseph Forcelle, officiating. Private interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at the church.
