Charles "Chuck" Piper

Charles “Chuck” Piper, age 85, of Faribault, MN, passed away October 18, 2023, at his home following a brief illness.

Charles Francis was born on September 6, 1938, in Faribault, MN, to Alcid and Ruth (Headline) Piper.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 – 1957.  He was married to Linda Kelsey on March 23, 1968.  Chuck worked as a mechanic with BMI in Faribault for many years.  In retirement he worked for Harry Brown’s for 10 years delivering and picking up cars. Chuck loved to hunt, going to casinos and auctions, searching for antiques, especially old clocks. 

He is survived by children, John Benton (Kathryn) and Justine Piper; granddaughter, Kelsey Benton; sisters-in-law, Diane Young and Karen McMahon (Joe); nieces, a nephew, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Alcid and Ruth; and brother-in-law, Larry Joe Young.

Per Chuck’s request, no services will be held.  Burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.
