Faribault

Clement Alton Wagner, age 73 of Faribault, MN, died Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Mesa, AZ following an extended illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, with Fr. Cory Rohlfing officiating. Clem was born on October 10, 1952 in New Prague to Anton Wagner and Antoinette (Lenzmeier) Wagner. Following his graduation from Bethlehem Academy High School in 1970 Clem attended Faribault Vo-Tech School for Construction and Welding. He then entered the National Army Reserves for six years. Clem was united in marriage on March 27, 1976 to Linda Kay Iverson at Immaculate Conception Church in Faribault, MN. They started their journey on a dairy farm in Veseli, MN and later moved to Warsaw, MN to raise their three children. Clem was employed by Land O’Lakes, Federated Feeds and eventually Met-Con Companies driving trucks with one arm out the window. He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the Moose Lodge in Faribault, MN. Clem enjoyed spending time with Linda on scenic drives, playing cards (especially Euchre) and grilling delicious meals. He could be found listening to music while working in the garage on various car and home improvement projects all while snacking on M&Ms. Clem had a love for gardening, fishing and taking family “road trip” vacations. In his retirement years Clem was known for watching his grandkids playing football, basketball, baseball, bowling, and hockey. In the winter months Clem and Linda would escape the cold weather for the warm Arizona sun making more family memories. He was always ready to play a board game and often found playing iPad games and collecting “points.” Clem’s legacy is one of integrity, resilience, and love.

Clem is survived by his wife Linda of Faribault, MN; daughter Darlene (Bruce) Mills of Mesa, AZ; son Anthony (Melissa) Wagner of Eden Prairie, MN; son-in-law, Troy Brekke of Elysian, MN; by his seven grandchildren Logan Sanchez, Seth Sanchez, Tyler Brekke, Katrina Brekke, Abigail Brekke, Cade Wagner, Owen Wagner; and by his sisters Agatha Farguson of West St. Paul, MN, Monica Wagner SSND of Mankato, MN, Esther Wagner SSND of Shakopee, MN and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Audrey Brekke, siblings: Theresa (Leonard) Meger, Antonette Marie Wagner SSND, Dolores Wagner SSND, Conrad Wagner, Judith Wagner, and Cletus Wagner.
