Colleen "Connie" M. Little

Colleen “Connie" Little, age 88, of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Colleen Marie, the daughter of Leonard and Loretta (Smith) Byrne, was born on November 30, 1936 in Kilkenny, MN. Connie grew up in Kilkenny and graduated from Waterville High School with the Class of 1955. She then attended St. Catherine College for nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She married John Zeeveld at St. Canice in Kilkenny, they later divorced. She was united in marriage to Philip “Jim” Little on November 8, 1975 and they lived in Las Vegas, NV. Connie worked as a RN in Las Vegas before her retirement. Following Jim’s death, she moved back to Minnesota.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Julianne Zeeveld; grandsons, Devin & Anthony; brother, Richard Byrne; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; her parents; her daughter, Gerianne Zeeveld; sister, Donna O’Brien; and sister-in-law, Maureen Byrne.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny, MN at a later date.
