Cynthia Caron

Cynthia F. "Cindy" Caron, age 69, of Faribault, MN passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 surrounded by her family at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault with the Rev. Paul Rieger, officiating. Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to services.

Cynthia Fay, the daughter of Arthur and Martha "Bonnie" (Hendrickson) Meyer, was born on March 8, 1948 in Northfield, MN. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1966. On April 13th, 1970 she was united in marriage to Bernard Caron in Brookings, SD. Cindy worked at K-Mart for 27 years retiring as a Pharmacy Tech. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Sweet Adelines and enjoyed working with the Trinity Lutheran Pie Ladies and Trinity Quilters. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing, gardening, puzzles, the Twins and sports in general.

She is survived by her husband Bernard Caron of Faribault; by three daughters, Rebecca (Vern) Meintsma of Faribault, Holly (Timothy) Schulz of Lakeville, MN and Katie (Joseph) Eiler of Elk River, MN; by three grandchildren, Abigail Meintsma, Emily Schulz and Alia Eiler; by her siblings, Arvilla Neff of Farmington, MN, Ramona (Richard) Fredrickson of Northfield, MN and Pamela (William) Kirkpatrick of Faribault; by her sister and brother-in-laws, Marlene Meyer of Sigourney, IA, Barbara Meyer of Northfield, MN, Karen Meyer, LaJune Troolin, James (Kathy) Caron, Daniel (Colleen) Caron and Steven (JoAnn) Caron, all of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives; by special friends, Elizabeth VanZuilen and Victor and Arlene Teigen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by four brothers, David, Patrick, Roger and John Meyer, by her father and mother-in-law, Clifford and Lorraine Caron and by two brothers-in-law, Maynard Neff and Ronald Troolin.
