Cyril Reineke

Cyril L. "Happy" Reineke, age 75 of Faribault, MN passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault with Pastor Greg Ciesluk from Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Faribault officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Cyril Lee, the son of Milan and Evelyn (Kelsey) Reineke, was born on June 23, 1942 in Faribault, MN. He was raised on their family farm on the southern edge of Faribault. He graduated from Faribault High School and attended Mankato State University part time. On Sept. 4, 1971 he was united in marriage to Maribeth Ott in Mankato, MN. After their marriage they would move to Cincinnati, OH and Cyril worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for Proctor and Gamble. They would later divorce in the early 1980's and Cy returned to Faribault and worked at various businesses including Faribault Foods.

He is survived by his children, Jason Reineke of Edina, MN and Renee (Terry) Isaac of Louisville, KY; by his granddaughter Ashlee Isaac; by his brother, Dean Reineke of Faribault, MN and by his cousin Jeremy Kelsey of Faribault, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
