Delores A. Caron

Delores A. Caron, age 87, of Faribault, MN, passed away August 18, 2026, at New Perspectives in Faribault.

Delores Ann, the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Maas) Hausen, was born on September 17, 1938, in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1956. Delores was united in marriage to George Caron on September 20, 1956, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Delores took great pride in raising their eight children. She worked as a secretary at Shattuck Schools, and Consolidated Catholic Schools (CCS), each for eight years. Delores owned and operated the Faribault Print Shop from 1981- 1989.

Delores had a strong faith and was instrumental in the coordination of the Adoration Chapel and was involved with MCCL and many Pro-Life causes. She grew up playing euchre and carried on the tradition with her family and had many family tournaments. Most of all, Delores had a great passion and love for her family. She taught religion to her grandchildren in her home and loved having family camping outings. She enjoyed knitting and made many baby sweaters for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Delores loved singing and could be heard singing while she worked around the house.

She is survived by eight beloved children, Julie Hoisington (Gerry), Joe Caron (Krisann), Anne Caron (Tony), Bev Wagner (Ray), Chris Caron (Karon), Therese Amundson (Scott), John Caron (Trisha), and Jim Caron (Tina); 31 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; siblings, David Hausen (special friend, Barbara Fromm), and Susan Brewster (Dan); sister-in-law, Veronica Hausen; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, Lawrence and Dorothy; granddaughter, Raechel Wagner; two great grandchildren, Cohen and Calla Hoisington; brother, Jim Hausen; brother in infancy, James Hausen; and other extended family members.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
