Delores M. Pansier, age 75, of Faribault, MN, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at her home following an extended illness.
Delores Mae, the daughter of George and Eleanor (Copeland) Bice, was born on May 30, 1950, in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1968. Delores was united in marriage to Ronald E. Hunt on September 26, 1970, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault and had four children, Robin, Rodney, Ben, and Nicole. Ron preceded her in death on May 14, 2000. For almost 50 years, Delores dedicated her work to caring for the handicap. She worked at the Faribault Regional Center, Our Home South, ESI of Rice County, and Lutheran Social Services. She married Thomas Pansier on April 16, 2005, at Christ the King Church, Medford. Delores was an avid reader, reading countless books. Enjoyed camping with her husband and siblings, and spending time with her family and grandkids. Her specialties were baking brownies and banana cream pie, crocheting, and she loved ice skating, swimming, diving, and bowling.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Pansier; children, Robin Kraling (Patrick), Rodney Hunt (Heidi), Ben Hunt (Danielle), and Nicole Loyd (Jeremy); 12 grandchildren, Tony, Torrey, Andy, Levi, Elijah, Israel, Ethan, Aiden, Ian, Malachi, Lydia, and Harrison; 9 great grandchildren, Trenton, Brody, Kaylee, Jemma, Franklin, Edward, Christoph, Beckett, and Nora; siblings, Lloyd Bice, Walt Bice (Lois), Carol Jacobson (Roger), Loretta Bice, Art Bice (Ella), Kathy Bice, Gerry Bice (Lynne), and David Bice (Linette); sisters-in-law, Mary Gable, Norma Mensing (Ronald), Marian “Pat” Olson, and Wihelimina Bice; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald E. Hunt; parents, George and Eleanor Bice; and siblings, Ardena Meeks, Kay Smith, and Raymond Bice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 7th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, and on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
