Dennis W. "Denny" Stadler

Dennis W. “Denny” Stadler, age 75, of Faribault, MN, passed away May 13, 2025, at the Care Suites of Edina following a brief illness.

Dennis Wayne, the son of Donald and Betty (Ramey) Stadler, was born on August 11, 1949, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, where he was raised and attended school. He was married to Patricia Broin, and they were later divorced. Denny worked for over 37 years at McQuay’s in Faribault. On August 14, 1998, he was united in marriage to Mary Jo (Freund) Benoit. Denny and Mary Jo loved being together, whether it was camping in Cannon Falls, MN, or wintering in South Padre Island, TX. Most of all their faith was of great importance to them. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing, especially on their family trips up north. Denny loved being outdoors and riding his motorcycle around the lakes. He was always a very active person, fixing automobiles, vacuums, and was very meticulous. Denny was so grateful to be welcomed by his extended family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Benoit; Denny’s children, Patrick “Rick” Stadler, and his children, Chelsea and Noah, Stephanie Stadler (Chris Forcelle), and Kevin Stadler (Angie Van Erp) and his daughter, Olivia; Mary Jo’s children, Molly Perry (David) and their children, Ollie and Sam, Anna Burdett (Chris), and their children, Fox and Elyse, Theresa Benoit (Jeb Sawyer), and their children, Freddie and Adeline, and Luke Benoit (Courtney LeClair), and their children, Leo and Gus; siblings, Donna Hermes (Jim), Deb Rule (Tim), and Dale Stadler; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty; daughter, Pamela Stadler; grandson, Michael Ryan Stadler; and nephew, Jesse Rule.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Vincent de Paul, Divine Mercy Catholic Church, or the donor’s choice in memory of Denny.
