Derek D. Dardis, age 42 of Brooklyn Center, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
Derek, the son of Dean and Beth (Schaal) Dardis was born on February 2, 1983 in Minneapolis, MN. He attended WEM High School and graduated with the class of 2002.
He is survived by his parents, Dean and Beth Dardis; by his sister, Randi (Josh) Gunderson; by three nephews and one niece, all of whom he loved very much, Layton, Jaxsyn, Jameson and Haivyn; by his grandmother, Betty Schaal and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alfred Schaal, by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Lois Dardis and by two uncles, David Schaal and Dale Dardis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.
