Donald J. Eustice

Donald J. Eustice, age 77 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at his home following an extended illness.

Donald Joseph, the son of Donald F. and Alice (Perron) Eustice was born on October 16, 1947 in Faribault, MN. He attended Owatonna High School and later Faribault Area Vocational and Technical College for Electronics. At an early age, Don took over the day-to-day operation of their family farm in Deerfield Township, Steele County, MN. Later he moved to Paris, TX and worked for different farmers and was a cattle man. Don also had different rental properties during this time. He moved back to the Faribault/Medford area in 1997 and began working for Jennie O Turkey Store as a driver and later for Rent & Save as a service tech for 15 years. Don just recently celebrated his 50th anniversary of sobriety and earned his Infinity Coin for this accomplishment. He was always available to help others who were struggling. He enjoyed farming, John Deere tractors, dancing, traveling, exploring different casinos across the country and especially loved his dog, Tilly.

He is survived by his fiancé, Linda Becker of Faribault, MN; by his daughters, Marsha (Joe) Newman of Faribault, MN and Megan Eustice of St. Paul, MN; by nine grandchildren, Jared Bruening and Paige Bruening, Tony (Becca) Fuller, Capri Hanson and her children, Everest and Elias; Cole Newman, Mitch Newman, Chastity Eustice and her children, Donald, Winston and Dorothy; Shadie (David) Baker and her children, Avery and Cassius; Mickayla Eustice; by his siblings, Robert (Diane) Eustice of Byron, MN, Ronald (Margaret) Eustice of Tucson, AZ and Margie (Mike) Root of Georgetown, TX and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Monica Bruening, and by his former wife, Kathy Eustice.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault with Sr. Kathleen Hayes, Pastoral Minister officiating. Interment will be held at Corpus Christi Cemetery, Deerfield Township.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
