Donna L. Lendway

Donna L. Lendway, age 71, of Faribault, MN, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN, following a sudden illness.

Donna Lynn was born on November 22, 1951, in St. Paul, MN, to George and Audrey (Peterson) Relitz.  She graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul.  Donna was married to Gilbert “Mick” Lendway on June 1, 1979, in St. Paul.  Prior to her retirement, Donna worked cleaning houses for the elderly and disabled through Aging Services for Communities.  She was very involved at Harvest Time Church in Faribault with the children’s activities and ushering.  Donna was very proud to be the New Residential Ambassador at New Perspectives Senior Living.  She enjoyed crafting and collected gnomes and squirrel figurines.  She often enjoyed feeding squirrels.  Donna was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, and Wild, and loved wrestling and had many favorite wrestlers.  Donna was a very generous and giving person and loved to help others when they needed it most.  Her giving nature continued after her passing by being an organ donor to help others.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Lendway (Bre Franklin), and Scott Anderson (Dana); grandchildren, William and Emily Anderson; siblings, Stephanie Boyer (Bill), Mersha Landrum, Sharon Relitz (Eddie Saarela), and Guy Relitz; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert “Mick” Lendway; parents, George and Audrey; and siblings, Kurt Relitz, and Greg Relitz

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Harvest Time Church, 2627 2^nd Avenue NW, Faribault.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the church.  Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.
