Douglas G. Kubinski

Douglas G. Kubinski, age 88, of Faribault, MN, passed away October 22, 2026, at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Douglas George, the son of George and Berthine “Babe” (Langeslag) Kubinski, was born on October 23, 1937, in Northfield, MN. Doug farmed for many years near Montgomery, worked at a concrete producer, before moving to Tennessee where he farmed and raised Belgian horses. In 2020 he moved back to Minnesota. Doug loved to tinker with anything mechanical, especially small engines.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ostlund (Robbie); grandson, Richard Kenneth Olson; siblings, Geraldine Valek (Leo), Roger Kubinski (Jane), Georgia Kline, Jacqueline Kline (Bruce), Kenneth Kubinski, Sandra Prinzing (Ron), Barbara Reuvers, and Jean Ivy; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; spouses; and siblings, David Kubinski, Bernard Kubinski, Richard Kubinski, and Patricia Flarup.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Deacon Dan Murphy, officiating. Interment will be at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Shieldsville, MN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
