Francis W. "Frank" Draeger

Francis W. “Frank” Draeger, age 80 of Kasson, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home.

Francis William, the son of William and Sybil (Starkey) Draeger was born on April 11, 1942 in Bismarck, ND.   Following high school, Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964 when he was honorably discharged. On December 28, 1973 he was united in marriage to Theresa Keiffer in Watertown, SD.  Frank owned and operated Classic Monuments and restored monuments and sold cemetery monuments and markers.  For the past 18 years he managed the Windsor Court Mobile Home Park in Kasson, MN.  Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with people.  Time spent with his family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Draeger of Kasson, MN; by his daughter, Staci (Dennis) Welch of Faribault, MN; by his grandson, Ryan Welch and his great grandson, Landyn Welch; by his siblings, Patricia (Butch) Hanson of Prior Lake, MN, Bill Draeger (Lea) of Kasson, MN and Georgia (Curt) Dufault of Dilworth, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Shirley Draeger, his daughter, Shari Draeger and by his siblings, Art and Sally.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault with Sr. Kathleen Hayes, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
