Gary M. Savoie

Gary M. Savoie, age 68 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital following a brief illness.

Gary Michael, the son of Roland Savoie and Bonnie (Spitzack), was born on July 12, 1957 in Faribault, MN. Gary grew up in Faribault and graduated from Faribault High School with the Class of 1975. He worked for the Faribault Woolen Mill before working for Malt-O-Meal. While he wasn’t working, Gary enjoyed playing softball, bowling, fishing up north, 4-wheeling, and anything that was adventure seeking. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his children, Trevor Savoie, Matthew (Jessica) Savoie, and Katie Savoie; grandchildren, Bre Wharff, Talon, Jordan, Skylar and Hadley Savoie, and Lincoln and Maleia Knott; sister, Cindy (Mark) Swaim; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Savoie and Bonnie (Robert) Reineke.

Memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory with a Time of Sharing starting at 6:30 P.M. Interment will take place at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
