James F. “Jim” Paschke, age 75, of Faribault, MN passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at District One Hospital.
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
James Fredrick, the son of Edgar and Clara (Clausen) Paschke, was born on January 21, 1944 in Faribault, MN. Jim grew up in Faribault and met the love of his life, Mary, at a young age. He and Mary were united in marriage on June 12, 1965 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. He graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1962 and furthered his education to become a machinist. Jim worked for Continental Machines for 34 years. Jim and Mary built a home together in Faribault in 1975. While he wasn’t working, he had a love for fishing and being outdoors whether it was hunting, bird watching or enjoying nature itself. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary; children, Todd (Christine) Paschke and Shelly (Joe) Weber both of Faribault; grandchildren, Brittni, Cody, and Chloe Paschke and Tyler (Arizona) Weber and Ashley (fiancé, Alex Paukert) Weber; siblings, Arlene Schmitt of Minneapolis, Dale (Joan) Paschke of Wisconsin, and Debra Benjamin of Shamrock, Texas; sister-in-law, Jan Paschke; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bernard Paschke and Nancy Jahnke.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
