Jane Lamberty

Jane M. Lamberty, age 98, of Andover, MN, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the JA Wedum Hospice Facility in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, 1100 9th Ave. SW, Faribault, with Pastor Gregory Purchla, officiating.  Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.

Jane Marie was born on February 4, 1920 in LeCenter, MN to Raymond and Birdella (Irish) Nichols.  She graduated from LeCenter High School with the class of 1937, then received nursing training.  Jane worked for 31 years at the Faribault State Schools.  She married Harold Lamberty on November 2, 1946 in Owatonna, MN.  Jane loved spending time creating a variety of arts and crafts, especially painting and jewel crafting.  She also enjoyed music, playing the organ, and dancing.  She also loved the outdoors, caring for her flower garden and fishing with her family.  Jane and Harold enjoyed their winter travels to Texas and California for many years.  Harold preceded her in death on September 21, 2017.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Kruger of Plymouth, MN, David (Yudy) Bauer of Tampa, FL, and Kathleen (Gregory) Monahan of Andover, MN; eight grandchildren, Mark (Kary) Kruger, Kristin Kruger, Lee (Kim) Kruger, Brenda Matthysse, Mary Jane (Mark) Lynch, Nathan (Brittany) Monahan, Katie (Nate) Dungey, and Tim (Keely) Monahan; 14 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; sister, Beth Bornholdt; grandson, Bradley Bauer; son-in-law, Bruce Kruger; and step-son, Dale Lamberty.
