Jeannine A. Beaupre

Jeannine A. Beaupre, age 95 of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN.

Jeannine Alice, the daughter of Leslie and Alice (Emge) Manthey was born on December 27, 1928 in Faribault.  When Jeannine was a young girl her father became very sick with polio and she cared for him for many years.  She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1946.   On March 21, 1947 she was united in marriage to Carlyle H. Beaupre.  Carlyle preceded her in death on November 7, 2009.  When they were first married they lived in Shieldsville at Mazaska Lake for 20 years and then moved to Faribault. Jeannine worked for a short time as a secretary at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School and during this time she and Carlyle purchased the Stump Supper Club and Resort at Roberds Lake.  Jeannine and Carlyle also drove bus for Faribault Transportation for over 20 years and had a special relationship with the special needs children that they drove.  Jeannine enjoyed trips to the casino, sewing, bird watching and gardening flowers.  A highlight for Jeannine and Carlyle was their trip to the World’s Fair in Australia.

She is survived by her children, Carlyle Jr. (Janet) Beaupre of Cambridge, MN, Lorrey (Deb) Beaupre of Redding, CA and Irene (Marvin) Budin of Faribault, MN; by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother, Leslie Jr. “Bud” Manthey.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating.  Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault. 

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
