Jeremy Johnson

Jeremy J. Johnson, age 41, of Faribault, MN passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at his home following a brief illness.

Jeremy James was born on April 26, 1980, in Britt, Iowa to Joseph and Joan (Ruppert) Johnson.  He graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1999 and attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.  For over 20 years, Jeremy worked construction with Infinite Scope Construction, and most recently worked at Jennie O – Turkey Store for a short time.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports.  He especially liked wrestling and was a state champion for Faribault High School.  Jeremy proudly built a house with his family on his parent’s property in Hackensack, MN, and loved spending time with his nephews and nieces.

He is survived by his father, Joseph Johnson of Faribault; brother, Justin Johnson of Faribault and his five children; sisters, Jennifer Williams of Faribault and her two children, and Holly Johnson of Menomonie, WI, and her three children; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Johnson; grandparents, Francis and Bonnie Ruppert, and Robert and Zelma Johnson; uncle, Paul Johnson; and aunt, Carolyn Johnson.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.  Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault at a later date.
