Jerry M. Ashleson

Jerry M. Ashleson (81) passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 16, 2024.

Jerry Myron Ashleson, the son of Morris and Sylvia (Jacobson) Ashleson was born on May 13, 1943 in New Richland, MN.  He graduated from Faribault High School in 1961.  After graduating High School he was employed by Nuttings where he worked for 14 years until they closed and left town in 1986.  He then found employment in Marriot Food Service at Carleton College and later became head custodian of the Rec. Center until retiring in 2004.  Jerry enjoyed playing pool, golfing, playing cards, raising tropical fish, and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Michelle Ashleson of Faribault and William Ashleson (and special friend Jessica Sanderson) of Kasson, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Marlene Bennett.
