Joeann P. Young

Joeann P. Young, age 85, of Faribault, MN, passed away July 5, 2026, at Allina Health Faribault Medical Center.

Joeann Patsy, the daughter of Leo and Ethel (Shankey) Crist, was born on March 14, 1941, in Faribault, Minnesota. She enjoyed her trips to the casino, playing bingo, and a game of cards.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Mitch) Vincent, Donald (Jody) Bussert, Charlene (Dan) Iverson, Darrell Bussert, Mike (Karen) Bussert, and Tom (April) Clark; her brother, Leo “Sonny” (Debbie) Crist; by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ethel; son, Larry Bussert Jr.; sisters, Dorothy, Carolina, Madeline, Audrey, Adria, Delrita, and Shirley.

Joeann’s body was donated to the U of MN Medical School Bequest Program.
