Jon T. Buckwheat

Jon Tod Buckwheat, 60, of Owatonna, Minnesota, passed away on April 25, 2023 in the care of nurses and doctors at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, surrounded by family.

He was born to Jason and Joanne (Erber) Buckwheat on March 30, 1963 in Durand, Michigan, where he also went to school, before starting a family in Minnesota. Jon loved being outside, fishing, Nascar, watching football with his son and cooking with his daughter. 

Jon is survived by his children: Stephanie (Gabe) Wilson of Faribault, Andrew (Emily) Gunderson and Grandson Beau of Belle Plaine. His sister, Joni (Kevin) Eichhorst of Owatonna, brother, Brian (Julie) Buckwheat of Colorado, sister, Beth Buckwheat of Florida, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Jon was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Buckwheat and mother Joanne Buckwheat.
