Jose Lopez

Jose Luis Lopez, age 79 of Faribault, MN passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Rios de Agua Viva Church, 425 6th St. NW, in Faribault from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault on Monday, December 14th.

Jose Luis, the son of Antonio Salazar and Antonia Lopez was born on April 8, 1941 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.  He was united in marriage to Ana Dolores Hernandez on December 24, 1965 in Guatemala.  Jose worked as a mechanic for many years at a Ford dealership in California.  Later they moved to Faribault.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Hernandez De Lopez; by his children, Ana (Luis) Del Aguila, Werner Lopez, Noemi (Alberto) Arriaza, Zuly (Luis) Teletor, Marlon Lopez and Abdony (Mynor) Espinal; by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  All of them love him and celebrate his life.
