Kathleen A. "Kathy" Jeanes

Kathleen A. “Kathy” Jeanes, age 74 of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at the Allina Health Faribault Medical Center.

Kathleen Ann, the daughter of Donald and Patricia (Dwyer) Brown, was born on March 18, 1951 in Faribault, MN. Kathy grew up in Faribault and graduated from Bethlehem Academy with the Class of 1969. She worked as a lending officer for various banks but her favorite job was at Farmer Seed in Faribault. She loved flowers and plants and watching them grow. She never missed the opening day at a local greenhouse. Her family was very important to her. She loved to take care of them and cook for them. Kathy loved to travel to Las Vegas and going to antique and garage sales. She also loved her dogs. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Jeanes, on November 1, 1984.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bob Jeanes; grandson, Alex Tello; sister, Sharon (Steve) Tousignant; brothers and sisters in law, Mary Rasmussen, Nancy (Russ) Bartz, Marcia (Dan) Stublaski, Rick (Angel) Jeanes, Kim Jeanes (Greg), Shelly Jeanes (Chet), Troy (Christine) Jeanes, Gerald Van Ryn; best friends, Robyn, Roman, and Ryhan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Patricia; son, Kory Krogh; daughter, Kelly Krogh; grandson, Marcus Krogh; parents-in-law, Barney and Bonnie Jeanes; brothers-in-law, John Jeanes, George Van Ryn, and Duffer (Mary) Van Ryn; and sister-in-law, Donna Van Ryn.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. with a Time of Sharing starting at 5:45 P.M. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in the Spring.
