Kathleen "Kathy" Jones

Kathleen (Kathy) Jones, age 77, passed away November 24, 2025, at the Emeralds of Faribault Care Center, in Faribault, MN.

Katheen (Kathy), the daughter of Roy and Dora (Hayden) Mobley, was born on August 23, 1948, in Akron, OH. She graduated from Garfield High School and the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in education. Kathy taught for many years mostly at Woodford Elementary School in Barberton, OH. For the past 25 years Kathy has lived in Minnesota.

She is survived by her brother, David Mobley; her sister, Karen Mullen (Donald); and cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be buried with those of her mother in the Memorial Garden at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Akron.
