Kayla S. DeMars

Kayla Sable DeMars, age 33, of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2024 at her home.

Kayla was born on September 16, 1990 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Jason and Charlotte (Kasper) DeMars. Kayla graduated from Faribault High School with the Class of 2009. She began working at St. Lucas Care Center as a teenager and continued her work there touching many lives working as a cook and nursing assistant. 

Kayla had an amazing heart and was very caring and loving. She had a sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She was an avid Packers fan, loved cooking, scary movies, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kayla is survived by her children, Aiden and Jason Gill; parents, Charlotte DeMars and Jason (Maggie) DeMars; brothers, Niko, Nathan, and Mason; paternal grandparents, Kathy and Dennis DeMars; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Berneice Kasper.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, Faribault. The family requests that everyone wear their favorite football attire in memory of Kayla.

In lieu of flowers, Kayla’s family asks that you share your fond memories of Kayla on her obituary page guestbook so her children can enjoy your memories of their mother as they grow. Donations can be directed to a fund set up for her children.
