Kevin J. Lang

Kevin J. Lang, age 69, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2024.

Kevin John was born on July 19, 1954, in Faribault, MN, the son of John P. and Kathleen (Fleming) Lang.  He graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School with the class of 1972.  Kevin’s long career in the grocery business touched many people. No one loved and took more pride in cantaloupes more than Cal! Later in life he embarked on a career in real estate & even had a postal route! His home & yard were his pride & joy, everyone loved and admired his horticulture talents! Kevin was always quick with wit (sometimes confusing & inappropriate) but always brought a belly laugh and never was one to turn away a cocktail. Most of all he adored his family, from his many siblings to his cherished children, Kevin always felt he had won the lottery of life. Little did he know, it was us who had won that lottery!

He is survived by his children, Shauna Lang-Burke (Alan), and Matthew Lang; grandchildren, Gavin, Griffin, and Odilia; siblings, Mark Lang (Gail), David Lang, John Lang (Jamie), William Lang, RuthAnn Lang, and Karen Hauptli (Dale); and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John P. and Kathleen.

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Faribault Elks Lodge, 28 3^rd St. NW, Faribault.
