Kimberly Ostlund

Kimberly A. Ostlund, age 57 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Luke’s Church, 1100 9th Ave. SW, Faribault, with Pastor Gregory Purchla, officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Kimberly Ann was born on June 9, 1961 in Rochester, MN to Thomas and Elizabeth (Lease) Sawle.  She graduated from Spring Grove High School with the class of 1979 and later received her degree in Accounting from Mankato State University.  She worked as a staff accountant with Berry Plastics for many years before being a self-employed accountant for many clients and organizations.  Kim was a dedicated member of St. Luke’s Church, as a Board Member, bookkeeper and was active on many committees. She also was active in ABATE of MN.  She was married to Robbie Ostlund on September 23, 2006 in Faribault.  Kim and Robbie enjoyed traveling, especially to music venues, riding motorcycle and camping.  She really enjoyed hanging out with her ABATE family, and getting together and doing things with her best friend Sue.  Kim was an avid Vikings fan.

She is survived by her husband, Robbie Ostlund; parents, Tom and Betty Sawle; brothers, Jeff (Gina Gran), and Kenneth (Marsha); sisters, Sandra (Randy) and Stephanie (Troy), four nephews, six nieces, and other relatives and friends.
