Lois A. Dardis

Lois A. Dardis, age 88, of Faribault, MN, and formerly of Waseca, MN, passed away May 24, 2023, at the Allina Health Faribault Medical Center.

Lois Ann was born on April 11, 1935, in St. Joseph Township, Stearns County, MN, to Paul and Mildred (Warnert) Meyer.  Following high school, Lois was trained to be a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She had a lengthy nursing career working at the Waseca Clinic and Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.  She was married to Joseph Dardis on June 11, 1955.  They enjoyed traveling and Lois loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Dean Dardis (Beth); daughter-in-law, Sheri Dardis; five grandchildren, Derek Dardis, Randi Gunderson (Josh), Vincent Dardis, Ashley McDaniel (Mikal), and Andrew Dardis; five great grandchildren, Layton, Jaxsyn, Jameson, Haivyn, and Morris; sister, Ruth Fladung (Dan), and their children, Amy, Erin, and Paul, and Richard’s children, Patricia, Kristen, Lauren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Paul and Mildred; son, Dale Dardis; and brother, Richard Meyer.

Private family services will be held.  Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.
