Lois Price

Lois J. Price, age 61, of Owatonna and formerly of Faribault, passed away unexpectedly due to respiratory complications on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Owatonna Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault with the Rev. Mark Johnson, Pastor of First English Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

Lois Jane, the daughter of Gilbert Mills and Lila (Thrasher) Mills, was born on June 14, 1956 in Faribault, MN. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1974. Lois married Richard Price, who preceded her in death. Lois worked at the Faribault Regional Center and the Minnesota Correctional Facility - Faribault, but most of her life she enjoyed working in the carnival world.

She is survived by her son, Jordan Price of Owatonna; by her mother, Lila Caron of Faribault; by nephews, John (Jeannette Wilson) Mills of Faribault and Matt (Samantha Chapman) Mills of Faribault; stepsisters, Susanne (Bruce) Benson of Northfield, Patricia Caron of Faribault, Lisa (Neil) Wadekamper of Waseca; aunts, Fern Helle Johnson of Austin, Evelyn Swanson of Fridley, Lourdas Thrasher of Colorado and Diana Thrasher of Washington state; uncle, Harry Nieman of Austin, and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son Brendan; father Gilbert Mills, sister Cathy Mills, brother David Mills, stepfather Floyd Caron; grandparents, William and Amanda Thrasher and Vern and Daisy Mills; uncles, Mervin and Arnold Thrasher, Melvin Helle, Chester Johnson and Roger Swanson; aunts Marlene Thrasher and Dorothy Nieman.
