Lucille “Lucy” M. Meshke, age 100 of Faribault, MN passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Faribault Senior Living.

Lucille Marie, the daughter of Napoleon and Verena (Thom) Remillard, was born on May 25, 1925 in Faribault, MN. Lucy grew up in Faribault and graduated from Faribault High School with the Class of 1943. She was united in marriage to Gordon “Bud” Meshke on August 18, 1947 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Lucy worked for various convenience stores including Stop-N-Go as a manager and Bonanza as a cashier. When she wasn’t working, Lucy enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing bingo, and quilting. She quilted a blanket for each of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. Lucy was a part of the KC Auxiliary, Eagle’s Auxiliary, and the Council of Catholic Women.

Lucille is survived by her children, Dean (Marilyn) Meshke, Sally (James) Boos, and Karen (Ernest) DeLuca; grandchildren, Stacie (Pat) Haynes, Todd Meshke, Lisa Meshke, Katie (Chad) Weber, Danielle (Ben) Miller, Kari DeLuca, and Andrew Boos (Kyle Quinn); great grandchildren, Mary Alice and Lily Haynes, Corbin and Zoe Miller, and Hailey, Jackson, and Kira Weber; sister-in-law, Linda Remillard; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon; daughter, Sandra Hemmings; son-in-law, Robbie Hemmings; sister, Peggy Hallet; brothers, Don (Corry) Remillard, Tom (Dorris) Remillard, and John “Jack” Remillard.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault with Deacon Dan Murphy, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Faribault, MN.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Minnesota Hospice in memory of Lucy.

Lucy’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Faribault Senior Living for the many years of care and friendship they gave to Lucy. Also, a special thank you to Minnesota Hospice for their care and dedication over the last several months.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
