With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, Manaa, who departed this life at the age of 31.

Manaa was born the oldest of 13 children, and from an early age she naturally embraced the role of a caregiver. As the eldest sibling, she lovingly helped raise and care for her many younger brothers and sisters while our parents worked long hours to provide for our family. Whether she was changing diapers, preparing meals, helping with homework, offering guidance, or simply comforting us during difficult times, Manaa became a second mother to many of us. Her selflessness, patience, and unconditional love helped shape the foundation of our family, and the sacrifices she made for her siblings will never be forgotten.

Manaa was a beautiful soul whose kindness, resilience, and love for her family touched everyone who knew her. She possessed a servant’s heart and always found joy in caring for others.

One of Manaa’s proudest accomplishments was earning her Medical Assistant degree from Alaska Career College. Through hard work and determination, she completed her education and went on to thrive in the medical field. She found purpose in caring for others, and her compassion, professionalism, and gentle spirit made her an exceptional healthcare professional who was respected by both her coworkers and the patients whose lives she touched.

In 2017, Manaa experienced the greatest blessing of her life when she welcomed her beloved son, Kingston, into the world. Becoming a mother was one of the greatest joys of her life, and Kingston quickly became her pride and joy. The unconditional love she had for her son was evident in everything she did, and he will forever carry the strength, love, and beautiful spirit of his mother.

Life wasn’t always easy for our family. We shared small meals, lived together in one-bedroom apartments, and leaned on one another through every hardship. Those experiences taught us resilience, faith, and the importance of family. Through it all, Manaa remained a source of love and encouragement. She had a beautiful smile that could brighten any room, loved listening to Afrobeats, and cherished spending time with the people she loved most.

Manaa is survived by her devoted mother; her treasured son, Kingston; her twelve younger siblings; extended family; and countless relatives and friends whose lives were blessed by her kindness and generosity. While our hearts ache from her absence, we find comfort in knowing she now rests peacefully in God’s loving embrace and has been reunited with loved ones who went before her.

Although our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the 31 years we were blessed to spend with Manaa. Her life reminds us to love deeply, forgive freely, and cherish every moment with those we hold dear, because tomorrow is never promised.

As we celebrate Manaa’s life, we ask everyone to continue praying for our family, especially our mother and Kingston, as they navigate this unimaginable loss. May her life also serve as a reminder to love one another fiercely, support those who are struggling, and always choose compassion.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault. Interment will be held at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park. The service will continue at church following the burial.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at church.

Manaa, thank you for every sacrifice you made, every lesson you taught, and every ounce of love you poured into our family. Your legacy will live on through Kingston, through your brothers and sisters, and through every person blessed enough to know you. We promise to honor your memory by staying united, loving one another, and living lives that would make you proud.

Rest peacefully, Manaa. Your love will forever be our strength, your memory our blessing, and your legacy will live on for generations to come. You will forever be loved, forever be missed, and never be forgotten.
