Marian Johnson

Marian L. Johnson, age 91 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna, MN following an extended illness.

Marian Louise, the daughter of Adolph and Anna (Shimpach) Horak was born on July 22, 1930 in Owatonna, MN.  She attended Owatonna High School and graduated with the class of 1948.  On March 28, 1951 she was united in marriage to Richard Johnson in Dothan, AL.

She is survived by her husband Richard Johnson of Faribault; by her children, Patrick (Margaret) Johnson of Chandler, AZ, and Michael (Theresa) Johnson of Faribault; by four grandchildren, Allison (Brandon) Hawley, Kristina (Harold) Nielsen, Bob (Jayne) Ford and Shara (Chris) Schmidt; by seven great grandchildren, Charlotte and Audrey Hawley, Anna Nielsen, Vayda and Axel Ford and Graham and Beckham Schmidt

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her daughter, Susan Becker and son-in-law, Richard Becker.

Private family services will be held for the family at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault and interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.
