Marlene T. Peters

Marlene T. Peters, age 79, of Faribault, MN, passed away November 29, 2025, at the Emeralds of Faribault.

Marlene Theresa, the daughter of William and Marian (Juaire) Peters, was born on August 19, 1946, in Faribault. She graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School with the class of 1965. Marlene was a driver extraordinaire, getting people safely to destinations for many years as a cab driver. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting and loved her kitties. Family was of great importance to Marlene. Her life centered around her children, and she enjoyed working at the Holiday Café with her family. Marlene was extremely active in her faith and church.

She is survived by her children, Paul Peters, Ken Farnsworth, Emery Farnsworth (Bridget), Theresa Farnsworth, Jesse Farnsworth (Jo Lang), and Nichole Farnsworth (Jeremy); step-daughter, Terry Englund; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; special friend, Mark Thompson; siblings, Margaret “Maggie” Meich, Barb Juaire, Diane Evans (Tim), Sue Phillips (Roy), Theresa Green (Don), Kim Kanzenbach, and Willie Peters (Lisa); and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marian; daughter, Rebecca Webster; three grandchildren; and sister, Dolly Schultz (Rudy).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, Marlene would very much appreciate donations to be made to Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.
