Matthew J. Koderick

Matthew “Matt” Koderick, age 34, of Belle Plaine, MN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Matthew Joseph, the son of Michael Koderick and Rebecca (Roesler) Koderick was born on December 5, 1991 in St. Paul, MN. Matt grew up in Ellsworth, WI and graduated from the Ellsworth High School with the Class of 2010. He worked as a framer before meeting the love of his life, Rebecca “Becca" Priem. They were united in marriage on May 10, 2025. They moved to Belle Plaine and Matt stayed at home with his son Ayden. Matt loved spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, and going on nature walks. He was a natural at making people laugh.

Matt is survived by his wife, Becca; son, Ayden; mother, Rebecca “Beckey” (Perry Larson) Koderick; father, Michael Koderick; brothers, Stephen “Kelso” (Anna) Koderick; Michael Koderick; Hunter Larson; Tory Buss; Ryan Tucker and Dylan Tucker; and many more family, friends, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandma, Shirley Koderick; maternal grandparents, Mike and Debby Roesler; and many more extended family.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Frontenac Sportsman’s Club.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
