Patricia A. Dietz

Patricia A. “Pat” Dietz, age 70 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna following an extended illness.

Patricia Ann, the daughter of Lawrence and Marcella (O’Neil) Dietz, was born on February 17, 1956 in Faribault, MN. She grew up in Faribault and graduated from Faribault Senior High School with the Class of 1974. She later attended St. Catherine University and graduated with a business degree with accounting concentration. She worked as a veterinarian technician for Jackson Veterinary Center and Veterinary Medical Center in Worthington, MN. She then worked as an accountant for the Wilson Center in Faribault and the University of St. Thomas. Using her accounting degree, Pat became a Special Agent for the FBI. When she wasn’t working, Pat enjoyed volunteering at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, with the Council of Catholic Women, and with 4-H. She also enjoyed helping with farm chores and fieldwork, gardening, baking and cooking, and spending time with her family at various family celebrations.

Pat is survived by her siblings, Cindy Barta, Mark (Gloria) Dietz, Paul (Linda) Dietz, Kathy (Randy) Bauer, and Jim (Cara) Dietz; nieces and nephews, Scott (Kelly), Craig (Dawn), Lawrence, Evan (Kelly), Kelsey (Steven), Betsy (Tony), Pam (James), Jennifer (Brandon), Elisabeth (Jason), Ryan, Joshua (Jennifer), Glen, Melisa (Kevin), Emily, William, Samuel, and Henry; 24 great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Teresa and Chris Dietz; brother-in-law, Mike Barta; and nieces, Ann and Lily Dietz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault with Father Cory Rohlfing officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church prior to Mass.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
