Patricia A. “Pat” Duncan age 78, of Faribault, MN passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at her home following an extended illness.

Patricia Ann, the daughter of Alvin and Mabel (Irving) Bauer, was born on July 18, 1945 in Faribault, MN. Pat attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1963. On July 2, 1966 she was united in marriage to William H. Duncan at First English Lutheran Church in Faribault. Bill preceded her in death on September 20, 2010. They lived in Faribault their entire life in the house that Pat grew up in. Along with raising their family Pat worked at Minnesota Electric Supply for 17 years and then moved to the State Bank of Faribault where she was a teller for 12 years until her retirement. Pat loved to bake and would also decorate cakes for friends and family whenever asked to. She was a talented seamstress and would make homemade Clown and Halloween costumes for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and traveling whenever she could. When her children were growing up she was active in the Garfield School PTO, and was a Den Mother for Pack 307 at Garfield School. She was a member of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the Eagles Clown Club.

She is survived by her children, Christine Duncan of Faribault, MN, William S. (Katie) Duncan of Lake LeeLanau, MI and Scott (Karin) Duncan of St. Joseph, MN; by eight grandchildren, Brittni Paschke, Cody Paschke, Chloe Paschke, Bridgette Duncan, Maycee Duncan, Ty Dellay, Ethan Duncan and Carter Duncan; brothers and sisters, Ray Bauer Sr. and friend Barb, JoAnn (Ray) Schulz, Dean (Sharon) Bauer, Russell (Donna) Bauer, Kathleen (Richard) Cap, all of Faribault, MN, Larry (Rene) Bauer of Washington, Steven (Jamie) Bauer of Hill City, MN and Susan Johnson of Owatonna, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Duncan, her parents, Alvin and Mabel Bauer, Brother and Sister-in-law, Calvin and Carol Duncan, Father and Mother-in-law, Samuel and Hannah Duncan and Brother-in-law, Dennis Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at First English Lutheran Church of Faribault with Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to services. The Faribault Arie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
