Richard M. "Richie" Flynn

Richard Mark Flynn, age 72 of Faribault, MN passed away peacefully on July 29th 2026. Rich filled our lives with kindness and love. Rich was known for a good laugh, telling hokes and playing tricks on you. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survived by his wife Mary Joy Flynn, children, Chad Flynn, Amy Redding (Brandon) and Ryan Flynn (Amara), grandchildren, Dylan Flynn, Cole Redding, Brody Redding, Wyatt Redding, Amyla Flynn and Mick Flynn, great-granddaughter, Indie Flynn, sisters, Jane Dean, Bettie-Jo Votel (Mark), Delia Flynn, Dannette Sexton (Doug), and Denise Abbott, brothers-in-law, Bob Murphy (Karen) and John Murphy (Patty), sister-in-law, Colleen Curly (Barry).

Preceded in death by his Parents, Rollie and Bettie Flynn, sister, Shirley Roche (Denny), brothers, Mike Flynn, Rollie Flynn (Lynn), brothers-in-law, James Dean and Joel Tracy, mother and father-in-law, Robert and Ida Murphy, brother-in-law, Tom Murphy, nephew, John “JJ” Murphy.

Rich will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Richie’s wish was to be cremated and brought home. The family will celebrate his life privately
